Just getting started on the project took me a while because I couldn't decide exactly how I wanted to approach it. Once I didn't have a choice due to time restraints, it forced me to make a decision and stick with it. Managing the perspective of the buildings and creating "realistic-ish" lighting were my two most significant struggles. I blended in a radial gradient to create a glow of light on the reflection of the water. I worked in many different named layers and stacked each piece of the photo, working from back to front to minimize clutter. This taught me how to identify, apply, and follow a type of perspective.
