As an interdisciplinary publication of MiraCosta College, this annual publication represents the collaboration of students and faculty in the Letters Department and Media Arts & Technologies Program. Concept, design, and production to print the book Tidepools 2024 came to life through weekly individual and group assignments.
Moodboard and design sketches became digital translations. Refining these with client feedback, master page layouts were developed into InDesign. Revisions and final client approval led to the final print-ready files being sent to the printer. Each layer of this process provides critical learning. Furthering the project design collateral, social media graphics were also created.
